Lyrics

Shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it, shake the lulav.
Shake it till it rustles and listen to the sound.
Shake it, shake it, shake it, shake in all directions.
Listen and remember that God is all around.

Build it, build it, build it, build yourself a sukkah.
Cover it with branches, but make sure the stars shine through.
Make your sukkah pretty with food and decorations.
Eat and sleep inside it and know God is here with you.

Hold it, hold it, hold it, hold the yellow etrog.
Feel its bumpy peel and its shape that's not quite round.
Willow, palm, and myrtle join to make the lulav.
The lulav rustles, but the etrog doesn't make a sound!

Lulav in your right hand, etrog in your left hand.
Shake it till it rustles and listen to the sound.
Shake it, shake it, shake it, shake in all directions.
Listen and remember that God is all around!
