Kingston Jewish Community Choir Online

As founder and director of the Kingston Jewish Community Choir, I invite you to come and sing with us!

We welcome anyone who enjoys singing Jewish music.

We have been singing together since February 2004 - onsite in Kingston, Ontario, Canada until 2020, and online on Zoom since then.

You can read my blog post at Virtual Choir Rehearsals That Are Fun, Musically Enriching, and Socially Connected – My Personal Opinion to learn how we sing together online!

Our repertoire includes Hebrew, Yiddish, Ladino and English songs, and encompasses liturgy & holiday songs, Israeli music, folk songs, musical theatre, and new compositions. Transliteration and translation is provided for all non-English songs.

In our on-site days, we performed with Kingston's Iyr HaMelech Reform Congregation and Beth Israel Conservative Congregation, as well as at events sponsored by the Queen’s Hillel Student Organization, and the Kingston Jewish Council.  We shared our music at health care facilities, holidays festivities, and community singalongs.

Since moving on-line, our membership has expanded to include participants from coast to coast in Canada (Moncton to Vancouver) and from the United States.

If you would like to sing with us, please email me for the schedule and Zoom link.

I look forward to sharing music together!
